Why should we all attend the School Board Meetings?

Because we don't want the Board and Admin. to forget about the land

thinking our resolve has died!!!!!

The board wont be discussing the land because the case for the land is in court.

Status: Positive and Ongoing.

What they are going to be talking about is what they'll do with the proceeds for the land if they sell it.

People have been following the issue and meeting at the library and decided that we will listen to D99's report to assure a Long-term Plan, a list of all unfunded projects & a prioritization of the projects is given, and amounts are disclosed for each project.

We will (and you can to if you want) address the board by speaking to them on any of these items they overlook. The time to speak will be when the (2) Visitor receptions Agenda items come up during the meeting. (The Agenda should be on www.csd99.org late Friday or Sat.)

Also, we plan to address an antidemocratic policy that the board will likely vote on Mon requiring any board member to "tell Eblen and Beckman in writing 1st & get 3 board members to agree" before any item can be put on the Agenda for discussion.

We are simply looking for communication, financial accountability and to know the impact the capital items will have on our tax bills and checkbooks.
